Coordination Centre

The ENEX Coordination Centre is based in Kirchberg, Luxembourg and is responsible for developing and coordinating both the Content Exchange and the technical side of the organization.

Editorial Team

Our Editorial Team is responsible for compiling news items from our member network and making sure that these stories are available with full data and scripts to our network of member channels.

They also coordinate the sharing of breaking news live feeds between members and liaise between members to create bilateral partnerships for news production and coverage.

A daily ENEX outlook – based on our members’ outlooks is available every morning and videos are made available online as they come in from our members throughout the day.

Technical Coordination

Our Technical Team is responsible for coordinating satellite usage, connecting signals between member stations and making sure that the ENEX technical backbone runs smoothly.

ENEX is connected by fibre to Paris, Brussels, Cologne and Hilversum in The Netherlands, and operates a Luxembourg feed point into the EBU network and into the global Level3 network. Besides any possible internet connection, ENEX is able to utilize the resources of its members and establish links from and to nearly all feed points around the world.

Special Productions

The Coordination Center is responsible for liaising between members and 3rd party suppliers to organize pool production operations in cases of special events of global magnitude.
